Application Packaging Training
This course provides the foundation for understanding Windows Installer
design and concepts. Beginning with a discussion of sequences and actions,
this course covers the fundamental Windows Installer relational tables and
operation. By the conclusion of this course, you'll be comfortable reviewing
and editing Windows Installer .msi packages directly. You'll also have a
basic understanding of transforms, patches, minor updates, and major
upgrades. We recommend limiting the class to 8 students for maximum
knowledge transfer.
