Application Packaging Training
Our Certification course is designed with 3 goals in mind: (a) update you on the latest tools, features, and expert
techniques using the latest version of AdminStudio to handle the toughest application packaging situations,
(b) test you in all aspects of packaging from concepts to practical application using a combination of paper-based
testing and hands-on exercises, and if you pass,
(c) provide you with a certificate to confirm that you have mastered the technical understanding of
application packaging. You will be able to reference this on your resume and
refer to Orange Brain's personalized certification page indicating your skills mastered.
Make no mistake: This course culminates with an intensive test that will challenge you and test your knowledge and skills.
Not everyone who takes that class will pass unless they truly understand the material.
However, it is our goal to make sure you have the knowledge transfer you need to take you to that level.
Day 1: Review of latest tools, features, and expert techniques, AND a briefing of the certification testing process.
Day 2: Certification Testing
Who should take this: People who have already mastered the basics in application packaging and are adept at installation
technologies such as Windows Installer, the registry, patching, major/minor upgrades, transforms,
custom actions, database creation/modification, and pre-requisite checking, and uninstallation.
We recommend limiting the class to 14 students for maximum knowledge transfer.
